Floors that aren't flat enough
LVT telegraphs every bump. We latex-screed to ±2mm over 2m before a single tile goes down.
Cheap 0.3mm wear layers
Anything under 0.55mm wears through in 5 years on a busy floor. We don't quote it.
Click SPC over UFH
SPC over UFH is slow to heat. We recommend glue-down LVT for any UFH spec.

- Will it dent under furniture?
- 0.55mm+ wear layer LVT recovers from point loads. Cheaper 0.3mm doesn't — that's the spec line.
- How long does LVT last?
- 15–25 years on a 0.55mm+ wear layer in a domestic setting. Less if you skimp on wear layer.
- Does it scratch?
- Less than wood. Commercial-grade LVT shrugs off pet claws and chair legs better than oiled oak.
