- Click for fast install, removable, uneven subfloors. Glue-down for UFH, premium look, long-life.
- Is LVT waterproof?
- 100%. Karndean and Amtico LVT will handle a burst pipe — the floor stays, the underlay might need to dry.
- Will LVT look cheap?
- Not if you spec Karndean, Amtico or equivalent and lay it on a properly prepped subfloor. The cheapness is in cheap product and skipped prep.
- Can you fit it in a bathroom?
- Yes — and we strongly recommend it over tile for warmth and grip. Fully waterproof joints, silicone perimeter.
- Can vinyl mimic herringbone?
- Yes — and it's gone mainstream. 600×120mm vinyl planks laid herringbone is half the price of wood.
- Can LVT go over underfloor heating?
- Yes — glue-down LVT is excellent over UFH. SPC click is slower to heat; we usually steer clients to LVT.
- How long is the install?
- 7–10 days on most domestic jobs — latex screed cure time is the rate-limiter, not the lay.
